We’re currently hiring local drivers! As a logistics company, we need drivers to handle final mile deliveries to customers’ homes and businesses. Along with delivering freight, some jobs may include assembling household items. Applicants should have strong customer service skills, a clean driving record, a solid background, and a positive, can-do attitude.
Duties:
- Safely operate tractor-trailers and/or straight trucks.
- Transport goods and materials to and from specified locations.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other relevant information.
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Able to lift 75+ pounds
- Able to pass pre-employment and ongoing drug screens.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial driving.
- Knowledge of proper handling and securing of various types of cargo.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be a minimum of 24 years of age.
