Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Clinical Assessor
Job Description
Bluebell ABA Therapy is seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Clinical Assessor in Charlotte, NC to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children with developmental disabilities and providing high-quality clinical assessments that help families access medically necessary ABA services.
The BCBA Clinical Assessor will play a critical role in our intake and authorization process by conducting comprehensive assessments, developing treatment recommendations, completing clinical documentation, and collaborating with families and referral sources. This position is ideal for a BCBA who enjoys diagnostic and evaluative work, excels in report writing and clinical analysis, and wants to focus on assessment rather than ongoing caseload management and direct supervision.
This role offers flexibility, professional growth opportunities, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on children and families at the beginning of their ABA journey.
Why Bluebell?
At Bluebell, we believe that great clinicians deserve transparency, stability, and strong leadership.
As North Carolina's ABA landscape continues to evolve, including the proposed Medicaid supervision and service delivery changes currently under discussion, we are committed to keeping our team informed every step of the way. While many large organizations leave clinicians guessing about how regulatory changes may impact their careers, caseloads, compensation, or day-to-day responsibilities, we believe in open communication and proactive planning.
Over the past several years, Bluebell has invested heavily in building a strong clinical and operational foundation, cultivating relationships with payers and state stakeholders, and developing systems that allow us to adapt to changing regulations without losing sight of what matters most: providing exceptional care to children and families.
We do not believe in keeping our clinicians in the dark. As new guidance emerges, our leadership team will continue to communicate openly, share what we know, explain what we do not yet know, and work collaboratively to navigate changes together.
Our goal is simple: to provide a stable, supportive, and long-term home for exceptional clinicians. We have positioned Bluebell to remain strong and successful regardless of how Medicaid requirements evolve, and we are committed to ensuring our team has the resources, support, and leadership necessary to thrive.
If you are looking for an organization that values transparency, clinical excellence, and long-term stability, Bluebell is the place for you.
