Technician II

Job Details

Primarily responsible for ensuring that customer and contractor vehicle service and repair needs are met.

JOB DUTIES

As an Entry-Level Automotive Technician, you will focus on foundational maintenance while learning from a seasoned team:

Performing oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, battery replacements, and brake inspections
Assisting and shadowing senior technicians on more advanced repairs
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safety‑focused workspace
Learning diagnostic processes and accurately documenting completed work
Participating in daily shop meetings to stay aligned and informed
Take care of customers, whether they're contract or sale
Repair vehicle properly and with safe techniques
Vehicle inspection against industry accepted standards
Minor shop duties (clean up, trash)
Maintain a tidy work area

No supervisory responsibility
Tasks are multiple and diverse with some interrelationship across processes.
Work requires the direct application of a variety of procedures, policies and/or precedents.
There is some budget responsibility and expenditure authority.
Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation.
Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems.
Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments.
Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies and practices.
Refers unusual problems to supervisor.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work involves frequent exposure to unpleasant elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, loud noises, chemicals, etc. •
Position requires continuous moderate or occasional heavy physical activity which includes 15% walking, 50% standing, 10% lifting, 10% pulling, 10% pushing, and 5% sitting.
