Part-Time Protestant Music Director & Musician

Position Summary
Idemma is recruiting a part-time music director and musician for an in-person military chapel program. Employment is contingent on contract award and government approval. Anticipated start: October 1, 2026.
Schedule
- Weekly Sunday contemporary Protestant worship service
- At least one rehearsal before each service
- Occasional holiday, memorial, and special services
Responsibilities
- Select and perform appropriate worship music.
- Provide vocals and piano/keyboard or acoustic-guitar accompaniment.
- Lead volunteer singers and musicians.
- Prepare lyrics and worship presentations.
- Coordinate sound checks and submit song selections in advance.
- Maintain equipment and copyright/CCLI compliance.
Qualifications
- Experienced musician and vocalist.
- Proficient on piano/keyboard or acoustic guitar.
- Contemporary Protestant worship-leadership experience.
- Able to pass background and federal-access checks.
- Willing to complete an audition or interview.
