Position Overview
As an Estimator, you'll combine construction knowledge with customer-focused sales to help homeowners navigate the restoration process after property damage. You'll inspect properties, prepare accurate estimates, build customer relationships, and help guide projects from the initial inspection through project approval.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $50,000–$60,000 (based on experience)
- Commission based on project profitability

What You'll Do
- Meet with homeowners to inspect residential and commercial property damage
- Conduct on-site inspections for mitigation and reconstruction projects
- Prepare accurate estimates using Xactimate
- Present restoration solutions and sell reconstruction and mitigation projects
- Build scopes of work for both mitigation and reconstruction
- Coordinate project handoffs with Project Managers after projects are sold
- Maintain relationships with homeowners and insurance representatives
- Manage project documentation and estimate updates
- Travel throughout the service area to perform inspections
What We're Looking For
Must-Have:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Sales experience or the ability to confidently present solutions
- Basic construction knowledge (framing, drywall, remodeling, etc.)
- Comfortable learning new software and technology
- Valid driver's license
Preferred:
- Restoration, construction, or estimating experience
- Xactimate experience
- IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, Fire, etc.)
- Experience working with insurance restoration projects
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
