Mechanical Engineering Technician
Mills Manufacturing | Full-Time | Process Engineering
Join Mills Manufacturing as a Mechanical Engineering Technician and help drive manufacturing innovation by designing tooling, programming CNC equipment, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. You'll work with CAD/CNC software to create machine tooling, develop first articles, optimize production processes, and support manufacturing teams with equipment setup and training.
What You'll Do:
- Design and program tooling using CAD/CNC software
- Create first articles from customer drawings and specifications
- Improve machine efficiency, quality, and productivity
- Develop and maintain machine patterns and facility layouts
- Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement efforts
- Train production personnel on new machine setups as needed
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience with CAD and CNC programming
- Ability to read blueprints and assembly drawings
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Lean Manufacturing and 3D printing experience is a plus
- Textile/apparel manufacturing experience is beneficial
