Discovering You is an adult day program dedicated to supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in building independence, confidence, and meaningful connections within their community.
We're looking for compassionate, dependable, and motivated individuals who enjoy helping others and want to be part of a positive, supportive team. Whether you're experienced or just starting out, we're willing to train the right person.
What You'll Do
- Provide supervision and support to participants throughout the day.
- Assist with daily living skills, personal care, and hygiene when needed.
- Lead and participate in recreational, educational, vocational, and community activities.
- Encourage independence, confidence, and personal growth.
- Help create a safe, fun, and engaging environment.
- Monitor participant health, safety, and well-being.
- Complete daily documentation and incident reports.
- Transport participants safely to and from community activities.
- Build positive relationships with participants, families, and coworkers.
- Follow agency policies, procedures, and state regulations.
- Attend staff meetings and required training.
