Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced CDL Class B Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks to transport materials across construction sites, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will support various construction projects, including site preparation, grading, paving, and material hauling. Duties
- Safely operate CDL Class B dump trucks to transport construction materials such as gravel, dirt, asphalt, and debris across multiple sites.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and equipment to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Assist with the operation of heavy machinery including excavators, loaders, dozers, backhoes, graders, water trucks, and horizontal drilling equipment as needed on-site.
- Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to schedule deliveries and pickups efficiently.
- Maintain accurate logs of all trips, materials transported, fuel consumption, and maintenance records.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working in potentially hazardous environments on construction sites.
- Support other heavy equipment operations such as Caterpillar machinery, tanker trucks, paving equipment, and water trucks when required.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL Class B license.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of truck systems and heavy equipment operation.
- Familiarity with construction site procedures and safety standards.
- Ability to operate excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, horizontal drilling rigs, tankers, and paving machinery confidently.
- Knowledge of construction materials handling and transportation logistics.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and site personnel.
