Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented CAD Drafter to join our dynamic design team. In this role, you will transform conceptual ideas into precise technical drawings and detailed plans that drive successful project execution across various sectors, including architecture, engineering, and construction. Your expertise in computer-aided design (CAD) software will be essential in creating accurate schematics, system designs, and visualizations that meet client specifications and industry standards. Duties
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, and Rhinoceros 3D to support architectural, mechanical, and construction projects
- Create precise schematics, system layouts, interior designs, and mechanical components for various engineering disciplines
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to interpret design concepts and translate them into technical drawings
- Utilize SketchUp, Grasshopper 3D, 3ds Max, and other visualization tools to produce realistic renderings and animations for client presentations
- Prepare construction documents, plans, and specifications adhering to industry standards and project requirements
- Conduct quality checks on drawings for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project guidelines
- Incorporate feedback from team members and clients to refine designs and ensure clarity in all documentation
Experience
- Proven experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, SolidWorks or Rhinoceros 3D is essential
- Familiarity with drafting standards within construction, mechanical design, interior design or graphic design fields is highly desirable
- Knowledge of system design principles and construction processes will enhance your effectiveness in this role
- Experience creating schematics for electrical or mechanical systems is a plus
- Strong understanding of 2D animation techniques for technical presentations is beneficial
- Prior involvement in interior or mechanical design projects will support your success in this position
- Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to interpret complex technical information accurately
