Now Hiring: Experienced Framer / Carpenter
VT Construction LLC is looking for a motivated, dependable Framer/Carpenter to join our growing team. We specialize in residential construction and are looking for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and enjoys working as part of a team.
Job Responsibilities
As a member of our framing crew, you will assist with all phases of residential framing, including:
- Building and standing exterior walls
- Installing wall sheathing
- Setting floor joists and installing subfloor
- Installing posts, beams, and structural components
- Setting roof trusses and installing roof sheathing
- Reading and following building plans
- Maintaining a clean and safe job site
Additional duties may include:
- Installing windows and exterior doors
- Siding installation and other exterior finish work
- Assisting with other carpentry tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Previous framing or carpentry experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work well with a team and maintain a positive attitude
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded
