Job Title: Manufacturing Technician
Location: (City, State & Zip code): Worcester, MA
Duration: 12 months
Pay Range: $25.00 – 28.00/Hr.

Description:
Overview
- Collaborate with engineers, quality teams, and cross-functional partners.
- Work with LIMS, SAP, automated control systems, DCS, PLC, PI, and related technologies.
- Participate in a comprehensive 6-week onboarding and training program.
Key Responsibilities
cGMP Manufacturing Operations
- Follow verbal and written procedures in a controlled cGMP environment.
- Document activities in batch records and logbooks according to SOPs.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
- Maintain required training and certifications.
- Support overtime requirements as needed.
Production & Process Support
- Manage inventory and support shipping of finished materials.
- Conduct sampling and in-process analytical testing.
- Prepare equipment for operation, including CIP/SIP cleaning and sterilization.
- Perform pH and conductivity measurements.
- Operate manufacturing equipment including autoclaves and glass washers.
- Prepare buffers and media.
- Perform cell culture activities from vial thaw through production scale.
- Execute column operations, TFF (Tangential Flow Filtration), and load line setup.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE (gowning, gloves, safety glasses, safety shoes).
- Adhere to cGMP regulations and company procedures.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a Science discipline preferred with 1+ year manufacturing experience.
- Associate degree or equivalent certification required; 1+ year manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience & Knowledge
- Knowledge of cGMP operations preferred.
- Ability to exercise judgment and initiative.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to determine appropriate methods and procedures for new assignments.
Physical & Safety Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read instructions and numerical data.
- Comfortable using computers/tablets 50–60% of work time.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with continuous equipment noise.
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.
- Frequently move to monitor equipment and processes.
- Ability to move/transport equipment up to 50 lbs. with appropriate assistance and safety equipment.
