Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our warehouse team on a temporary basis to the end of December 2026. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory management, and supporting efficient order fulfillment. Duties
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders using RF scanners and inventory management software
- Pre-shipment inspections for inbound and outbound deliveries
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products accurately for delivery
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely to load and unload trucks
- Maintain precise inventory records through data entry in warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems
- Conduct stock counts, cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy
- Coordinate with logistics teams to schedule shipments and optimize warehouse distribution processes
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards during shipping & receiving activities
- Assist with order fulfillment processes including order picking, packing, and loading for timely delivery
- Support warehouse operations by stocking shelves, organizing storage areas, and maintaining a clean workspace
- Utilize MS Office tools for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with familiarity in shipping & receiving procedures
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP systems
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely (certification preferred)
- Strong basic math skills for counting, measurements, and data entry accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and order accuracy
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and external partners
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and trade compliance standards is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety protocols
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks as needed
