Position Description: Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the movement, shipment, storage, and unloading of various materials by hand and/or by the operation of a forklift.
Key responsibilities:
- Unloading and loading shipments
- Moving materials to and from storage or shipping
- Counting, weighing, sorting, and unpacking materials
- Picking and filling orders
- Packing and shipping orders
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Disposing of packing materials and potentially hazardous materials
- Keeping records of stock and paperwork
