Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Route Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting products, materials, and supplies to assigned locations in a safe, timely, and efficient manner. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, customer-service oriented, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe vehicle while following all company procedures and driving laws.
Responsibilities
- Pick up, load, transport, and deliver products or materials to assigned locations
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules
- Plan safe and efficient routes when needed
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe company vehicle
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel, and any route-related issues
- Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and management
- Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies
- Assist with loading and unloading products as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a route driver, delivery driver, or truck driver is preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely operate a delivery vehicle
- Familiarity with GPS/navigation systems
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Ability to lift, move, and carry products as required
- Dependable, responsible, and safety-focused
- Willingness to travel locally and complete assigned routes on schedule
