Preferred candidates will possess:

Demonstrated success as a classroom teacher and preferably in an instructional leadership position

Strong background in primary education including literacy

Ability to work collaboratively as a member of the district's dynamic leadership team

Demonstrated skills in working with a variety of students Including special needs students and English Learners and staff to improve student achievement

Ability to help lead staff and students to high levels of performance.
