Delta Hotels Huntington Downtown is looking for a reliable Evening & Overnight House/ Laundry Attendant/Shuttle Driver.
Responsibilities:
- Transport guests to and from designated and approved locations using official hotel vehicle.
- Operate hotel vehicle in a safe manner and in accordance with established laws.
- Perform assigned duties associated with guest transportation, hotel laundry, and upkeep of hotel public space.
- Read, track and comply with guest transportation schedules established on a daily basis.
- Properly maintain and clean hotel vehicles.
- Ensure the timely delivery of guest luggage, packages, gifts, messages, etc.
- Follow security procedures on the handling of guest room keys and the protection of guest related information.
- Wash, clean, dry, and fold numerous hotel linen and laundry items.
- Sort the laundry items according to material and color.
- Arrange clothes in the laundry room as per the specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness in the laundry room and hotel public space.
- Assist fellow laundry attendants in loading and unloading laundry washers and dryers.
- Respond to customer complaints in a professional manner.
- Provide various other guest related services as required.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Laundry Attendant or housekeeper with laundry duties are plus
- Ability to work for 8 hours as well as work on weekends.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Well versed in using laundry equipment and maintaining the types of equipment.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and objects (50lbs).
- *MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE AND CLEAN DRIVING RECORD*
