Job Requirements
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC and manual machines (mills, lathes, grinders) to produce high-precision components.
- Interpret complex blueprints, CAD drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
- Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and cutting speeds to achieve optimal results.
- Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and CMM equipment to ensure tolerances are met.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements for efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with engineers and quality teams to refine designs and processes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with government regulations.
- 10+ years of experience as a machinist in a precision manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CNC programming (Fanuc, Haas, or similar) and manual machining techniques.
- Strong blueprint reading skills and understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Experience with precision measuring tools and quality inspection processes.
- A problem-solving mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Pay: $83,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
