Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician 2 to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of residential apartment communities. Your expertise will ensure that residents enjoy a comfortable living environment by performing repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility upgrades efficiently and professionally. Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances to ensure optimal operation.
- Diagnose and repair issues related to plumbing, wiring, and drywall
- Perform residential painting as needed, and other carpentry tasks to maintain property appearance and safety standards.
- Appliance repairs, lighting maintenance
- Unclogging drains, replacing plumbing fixtures
- Supervise or assist with projects that involve supervising experience or leadership responsibilities within the maintenance team.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and building codes during all repair activities.
- Collaborate with residents and property management to address maintenance requests promptly while providing excellent customer service.
- On call rotation
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance and manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in electrical systems and troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters.
- Leadership qualities with supervising experience or the ability to guide team members effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with clear communication in English to interact professionally with residents and team members.
- Driver's license and vehicle required
Schedule
Monday to Wednesday 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Thursday and Friday Off
Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
