Overview
The Plant Operator plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of our landfill gas power plant. This position involves monitoring and controlling various processes and equipment to ensure optimal production levels while adhering to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to operational excellence and possess the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Duties
- Operate and monitor plant equipment, ensuring all machinery is functioning properly.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and processes to identify any issues or areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced, downtime, and maintenance activities.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot problems and implement solutions effectively.
- Assist in training new operators on equipment operation and safety practices.
- Participate in regular maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability.\
- Willingness to be on call. Operators switch off weekends in which they are on call for outages. Operators are required to come into the plant if there is an outage and reset the system.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
