Quality Assurance Specialist
6+ month contract
Job Scope
- Perform quality surveillance on construction projects to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and contract requirements
- Conduct site inspections and document findings in detailed surveillance reports
- Review construction activities, workmanship, materials, and installation methods
- Assist with change order reviews and provide recommendations to project stakeholders
- Support resolution of construction quality issues and contract compliance concerns
Qualifications
- 10+ years of construction quality assurance, inspection, or related experience
- Experience with one or more of the following:
- Medical Gas Systems (NFPA 99)
- Life Safety Code (NFPA 101)
- Electrical Systems (NFPA 70)
- Plumbing Systems (IPC)
- Fire Protection Systems (NFPA 13 & 72)
- HVAC / TAB
- Building Commissioning
- Communications & Security Systems
- Biomedical Equipment Systems
- Transportation & Facility Equipment
- Dredging
- Welding Inspection
- Painting & Metalizing Inspection
- Environmental / HAZWOPER
- Airfield Paving & Concrete
