Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Process sales transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests
- Assist with food handling, preparation support, and ensuring food safety protocols are followed
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns promptly
- Support beverage service including drink presentation, pouring spirits, and cocktail preparation with knowledge of spirits and drink recipes
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders in a fine dining environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; hospitality background preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and sales transactions
- Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking efficiently
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling cash transactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Prior experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed
