Marquette University invites applications for one tenure-track position beginning Fall 2027 to be filled at the rank of Assistant Professor.
Applicants should hold a doctoral degree or be in the final stages of dissertation. Relevant work experience and/or professional certifications are preferred but not required. Scholars with expertise in either archival or experimental methods are encouraged to apply. The normal teaching load is 12 semester hours (6 hours each semester) during the first year and 15 semester hours thereafter.
Salary and research support are competitive, including travel funds and guaranteed summer support for at least the first three years.
Duties and Responsibilities
Teaching either financial accounting or accounting technology at the undergraduate and graduate (MSA) levels, conduct high-quality research and engage in service activities.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Earned doctorate or a terminal degree. Demonstrated potential for teaching excellence and high quality research.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
ABD may be considered.
