Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items following established recipes, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
- Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery during busy service hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Support kitchen operations by participating in food plating, garnishing, and presentation.
- Follow food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate service flow and meet customer expectations.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or issues.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant environments is highly desirable.
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of food handling safety procedures.
- Familiarity with dietary department standards, menu planning, and catering is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen setting.
- Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and support staff.
