Lowcountry Originals is a South Carolina based manufacturer known for custom, handcrafted, and domestically made lighting. Each fixture is made-to-order, allowing for extensive personalization in size, shape, finish, and materials, making them unique to the client’s space and lifestyle. Located in Ridgeland, SC.
We are actively recruiting for positions within our fabrication team. The candidate can be entry level with a basic knowledge of metalworking / welding or can have years of experience with certifications. We have a strong team that can train any level candidate in all areas of our production line.
Fabrication Roles and Responsibilities include:
Cut / Bend / Drill / General Material Prep
- Must be able to understand orders
- Must have knowledge of basic shop math
- Quick knowledge of the various material sizes used for LCO products
- Continue to gain knowledge on the cut books for each of the LCO products
- Basic understanding of how to scale a fixture to various custom sizes
- Basic understanding of all bend dies and what is needed for various fixtures
- Basic understanding of all other tooling stations in the shop including the drill press, bench grinders, forge, hammer press, shop press.
- Willingness to learn the software to run the CNC table, Autodesk Fusion
Welder / Fabricator
- Must be competent in all areas upstream for material prep
- AWS certification preferred but not required
- Must be proficient in MIG and TIG welding of all materials
- Proficient knowledge in safety requirements and proper PPE.
- Must have an artistic take on seeing products come to life
