Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for assisting the Production Department in achieving the desired production results. The Production Technician is a self-motivated, professional person who can confidently work at a high-level and fast, diligent pace
Responsibilities
- Light refurbishment and conduct minor repairs of equipment.
- Examine product, pressure wash, and clean equipment to standards.
- Prep, sand, clean all parts, and store properly for inventory.
- Break down and organize equipment for part harvesting of beds and stretchers.
- Arrange and store equipment and supplies for inventory purposes.
- Paint and basic cosmetic repair on equipment for usage.
- Operate production shop tools safely and store them properly.
- Remove parts on equipment to re-purpose, and replace upholstery when needed.
- Performs quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Complete other duties as assigned by management, including training new associates or learning new skills to be efficient for the team.
Experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is highly preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment with proper certification is desirable.
- Experience with Hand tools.
