We are seeking an experienced and proactive Safety Operations Manager to lead safety initiatives, oversee compliance programs, and support operational best practices throughout our transportation network. As a Safety Operations Manager, you will oversee company-wide safety initiatives, monitor regulatory compliance, manage driver qualification programs, conduct investigations, and partner with operational leadership to promote a culture focused on safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
- Develop, implement, and manage safety programs across transportation operations
- Promote a culture centered on safety awareness, accountability, and accident prevention
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, and operational assessments
- Monitor safety performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
- Recommend and implement corrective actions that reduce risk and improve safety outcomes
- Ensure compliance with company policies, DOT regulations, and transportation industry standards

- Serve as a trusted resource for safety-related questions and concerns
- Experience in transportation safety, compliance, fleet operations, risk management, or a related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, transportation compliance, and safety programs
- Experience conducting audits, inspections, investigations, and corrective action planning
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and documentation abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with compliance reporting systems and Microsoft Office applications
