Reports to:
- Kitchen Manager and/or Administrator
Basic Job Duties:
- Front line preparation of all food produced for Community Village residents, ensuring that adequate meals are provided using proper food handling techniques.
- This person will also prepare and manage the production of desserts and cold foods as necessary to meet productive requirements.
- They will also be involved in serving residents, maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen and other meal related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum of two years experience working in a food service department in a nursing home, assisted living or a hospital environment.
- At least one year working with the frail elderly population.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current ServSafe preferred but not needed
- CPR certification (will provide training if needed)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
