This position is ideal for someone with prior office experience who is looking to build a long-term career in the insurance industry. No insurance experience is required, but candidates must have experience working in a professional office environment and be willing to obtain a Property & Casualty insurance license.
We believe in promoting from within, and this role offers a clear path to grow into an Insurance Account Manager position for the right candidate.
What You'll Do:
- Answer phones and assist clients with basic requests and questions
- Greet and assist walk-in customers
- Process paperwork, applications, and policy documents
- Enter and maintain client information in agency systems
- Assist Account Managers with renewals, policy changes, and client service tasks
- Communicate with insurance carriers and clients by phone and email
- Help keep office operations organized and running smoothly
Qualifications:
- Previous office experience required (insurance, banking, real estate, mortgage, legal, healthcare administration, or similar fields preferred)
- Strong computer and organizational skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license preferred, or willingness to obtain one after hire
- Desire to learn, grow, and advance within the company
