We are seeking an experienced Director of Revenue Cycle Management to lead our billing operations and revenue cycle processes. This individual will work closely with executive leadership to ensure accurate billing, regulatory compliance, efficient reimbursement, and continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong healthcare billing experience who enjoys developing teams, solving problems, and improving operational performance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in healthcare billing is required.
- Previous experience as a Billing Manager, Revenue Cycle Manager, or similar leadership role is required.
- Strong knowledge of medical billing, claims management, reimbursement, and revenue cycle processes.
- Experience leading and developing billing teams.
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance, coding, and documentation standards.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the revenue cycle, including billing, claims management, collections, payment posting, and accounts receivable.
- Lead and develop the billing team through coaching, training, and performance management.
- Monitor revenue cycle performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reimbursement.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, payer, and company billing regulations and requirements.
- Collaborate with leadership across departments to resolve billing issues and improve operational workflows.
- Review billing trends, denials, aging reports, and key performance indicators to drive revenue cycle improvements.
- Assist with internal audits, compliance reviews, and investigations related to billing, coding, and documentation.
- Serve as the primary internal resource for revenue cycle questions and provide education to staff as needed.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures that support revenue cycle best practices.
- Partner with executive leadership on strategic initiatives and process improvement projects.
