Position Summary
The Facility Manager is responsible for the overall operation, maintenance, safety, and appearance of the JJVA training facility. This position ensures the facility is clean, safe, and fully operational while supporting coaches, athletes, staff, tournament directors, and visitors.
Essential Responsibilities
- Manage daily facility operations and maintenance.
- Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs.
- Coordinate repairs with outside contractors and vendors.
- Supervise custodial staff and facility maintenance personnel.
- Ensure courts, lighting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and equipment are maintained.
- Oversee event setup and breakdown for tournaments and special events.
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and local safety regulations.
- Develop and manage the facility maintenance budget.
- Respond to facility emergencies during business hours and special events.
- Work evenings and weekends as required to support tournaments and events.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3–5 years of facility management or building operations experience.
- Experience managing sports, recreation, or event facilities preferred.
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform occasional physical work.
- Valid Florida driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Facility Management Professional (FMP) certification.
- Experience managing athletic facilities or sports complexes.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
