We are looking for a highly independent, self-motivated Small Engine and Equipment Mechanic to keep our fleet running. In this role, you will be solely responsible for maintaining our power washing systems, commercial gas-powered mist blowers, and performing basic maintenance on our company vehicles. "Self-led" is the most important trait for this role. You will operate with minimal direction and must be trusted to diagnose, prioritize, and complete tasks on your own schedule.Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain & Repair Specialty Equipment: Diagnose, service, and repair high-pressure power washing equipment and gas-powered mist sprayers used for bug treatments.
- Basic Fleet Vehicle Care: Perform routine automotive maintenance on company vehicles, specifically simple oil changes, fluid checks, and basic upkeep.
- Troubleshoot Independently: Read schematics, source parts, and fix mechanical, fuel, or electrical issues with zero supervision.
- Preventative Maintenance: Manage oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups on all equipment to prevent breakdowns before the workday starts.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Ultimate Self-Starter: Proven ability to work completely unsupervised, manage your own time, and stay productive.
- Small Engine Experience: Strong background working on 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines, small pumps, and pressure systems.
- Basic Auto Skills: Comfortable performing quick, routine auto maintenance (oil changes are a must).
- Problem Solver: Ability to look at a broken piece of equipment, figure out what is wrong, and fix it without needing a manager's guidance.
