TT Machining & Fabricating is seeking experienced CNC Machinists and CNC Operators to join our team.
We primarily operate Hurco vertical machining centers and Mazak lathes in a job-shop environment that includes production work, custom components, repair parts, and short-run manufacturing.
We are looking for individuals who take pride in producing quality parts, solving manufacturing challenges, and continuously improving their skills.
If your strengths include programming, setup, process development, inspection, and taking a job from print to finished part, you will align more closely with our CNC Machinist role.
If your strengths include operating equipment, maintaining production flow, performing routine inspections, and running established jobs efficiently, you will align more closely with our CNC Operator role.
CNC Machinist Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate Hurco CNC mills and Mazak CNC lathes
- Develop machining processes from customer drawings and specifications
- Select tooling, workholding, speeds, and feeds
- Perform setup, prove-outs, and first-piece inspections
- Inspect completed parts using precision measuring equipment and Keyence inspection systems
- Interpret blueprints, tolerances, and GD&T requirements
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, programming, and quality issues
- Improve processes, cycle times, and setup efficiency
- Verify finished parts meet print requirements and quality standards
CNC Operator Responsibilities
- Operate Hurco CNC mills and Mazak CNC lathes
- Load and unload parts safely and efficiently
- Monitor machine performance and tool condition
- Perform routine in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Maintain quality standards and production requirements
- Communicate tooling, machine, or quality concerns as they arise
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
- Previous CNC machining or CNC operating experience required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, indicators, and other precision measuring equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and professional work ethic
Preferred Experience
- Hurco WinMax controls
- Mazak lathes and Mazatrol controls
- CNC programming experience
- Keyence inspection equipment experience
- Job shop machining experience
- Experience machining steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and alloy materials
- Experience holding close tolerances
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
