Due to the diverse needs of our clientele, we are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) professional who can confidently communicate with and support our Spanish-speaking clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist loan officers with loan origination processes, including gathering client information and preparing documentation
- Conduct preliminary credit analysis and review borrower financial data to support underwriting decisions
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, and other federal or state requirements
- Support loan processing activities by verifying documents, updating loan files, and coordinating with escrow and mortgage servicing teams
- Help facilitate communication between clients, underwriters, and other stakeholders to ensure timely loan approvals
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, disclosures, and other legal documents related to loans
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Loan Officer Assistant or in a related financial services role is preferred
- Must be fluent in Spanish
- Strong understanding of mortgage products, underwriting procedures, and loan origination processes
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in document review and data entry
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members
- Must be able to work full-time on site
