Duties
- Lead and supervise all store activities, including sales, inventory control, merchandising, and customer service to ensure operational excellence.
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop staff members to foster a high-performing team aligned with company standards.
- Manage employee schedules, payroll processing, and shift assignments to optimize productivity and labor costs.
- Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, purchasing decisions, and pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive shopping experience for all patrons.
- Implement marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to increase store visibility and sales.
- Maintain accurate cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) operations, bookkeeping records, and financial reports.
Experience
- Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervisory responsibilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in retail math including sales management, budgeting, pricing strategies, and inventory control.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively across shifts while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Experience with employee orientation, training & development programs, and performance evaluations.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous for engaging diverse customer bases.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, payroll processing, and basic bookkeeping is essential.
