Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Seasonal Snow Plow Operator and be at the forefront of ensuring safe and accessible outdoor environments during winter months. In this role, you will operate snow plowing equipment to clear roads, driveways, parking lots, and pathways efficiently and safely. Your expertise in outdoor work, machinery operation, and adherence to safety protocols will be vital in maintaining smooth operations during snowstorms. Responsibilities
- Operate snow plow trucks, loaders, and other grounds maintenance equipment to clear snow and ice from designated areas
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment, ensuring mechanical knowledge is applied to identify issues before use
- Follow established safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure safe working conditions for yourself and colleagues
- Coordinate with team members to prioritize routes and efficiently manage snow removal tasks
- Assist with related outdoor maintenance activities such as salting or sanding surfaces to prevent ice formation
- Maintain detailed logs of work performed, equipment used, and weather conditions affecting operations
- Support additional grounds maintenance tasks including landscape upkeep, lawn care, or minor hardscape repairs as needed
Experience
- Prior work experience in snow removal using plow trucks is required
- Pay based on experience, newer plow truck operators start at $20/hr and progress from there based on experience
- Owner operators start at $50/hr and go up to $85/hr based on experience and equipment
Pay: $20.00 - $85.00 per hour
