Working foreman for industrial flooring crews, traveling nationwide out of Whitmore Lake, MI.
SaniCrete is a family-owned company. Since 1990 we've manufactured and installed flooring for food and beverage plants nationwide, with our own crews, no subs. Our foremen run the crew and work the floor.
What we need:
- 2+ years hands-on with urethane cements and epoxies, including mixing and batching
- Experience with floor prep equipment
- Crew lead experience preferred. Strong installers ready to step up will be considered at the lower end of the range.
- Valid driver's license with a clean 3-year record, comfortable towing trailers
- Able to travel from 4 days to a month at a time and work nights, weekends, and holiday shutdowns
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
The job:
- Run a travel crew: safety, quality, schedule
- Work the floor with your guys: prep, install, cove base, drains, detail work
- Keep mixing, prep, and finish up to standard
- Work with plant contacts on site and keep the customer in the loop
- Hit hard deadlines on shutdown work
You don't need to know how we run jobs on day one. You'll have support on your first projects until you can run it yourself.
What you get:
- $30 to $38/hr depending on experience
- $2,000 first-year bonus: $500 at 30 days, $500 at 6 months, $1,000 at 1 year
- $50/day per diem on travel days, paid weekly
- Paid travel and hotel covered on the road
- Health and dental, 100% of your individual premium paid, eligible after 90 days
- Holidays worked pay 2x. Busy stretches bring overtime.
- PTO, year-end bonus, uniform kit, boot allowance, equipment supplied
The honest part: the travel is real, hours run with the project schedule, and when something goes wrong on site the crew looks at you. If the travel is a maybe, it's a no.
SaniCrete is an equal opportunity employer.
