Personnel Placements, LLC is looking for two Machine Operators to join our 2nd shift team in the Assembly Department at our plastic molding manufacturing facility in Collierville, TN. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining production machines used in the molding process, ensuring product quality, and maintaining efficient production rates. This position requires a strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate injection molding machines to produce plastic parts for various customer orders.
- Monitor production processes and machinery to ensure machines are running efficiently and safely.
- Inspect parts for defects or quality issues and take corrective action when necessary.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and clean-up to ensure machines are in optimal working condition.
- Ensure that production targets are met, and report any machine malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Keep accurate records of production data, including output, downtime, and any quality issues.
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily and weekly production goals.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing setting preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines and company policies.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
