Position Summary
We are seeking an energetic, compassionate, and results-driven Patient Recruitment Specialist to identify, engage, and prescreen potential clinical research participants. This individual will play a key role in meeting enrollment goals by conducting outreach, managing recruitment campaigns, and providing exceptional customer service to prospective participants.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to incoming patient inquiries via phone, text, email, and online platforms.
- Conduct prescreening interviews to determine eligibility for clinical trials based on study-specific criteria.
- Educate potential participants about clinical research and available study opportunities.
- Schedule screening and enrollment visits.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and databases.
- Follow up with leads and maintain ongoing communication with prospective participants.
- Assist with community outreach initiatives, physician referrals, social media campaigns, and advertising efforts.
- Collaborate with study coordinators and investigators to support enrollment goals.
- Track recruitment metrics and provide regular updates on enrollment progress.
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with IRB, HIPAA, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in clinical research, healthcare, patient scheduling, sales, customer service, call center operations, or marketing preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable speaking with patients by phone throughout the day.
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based systems.
- Experience with CRMs, CTMS platforms, or EMRs is a plus.
