We are EXPL.OR, a locally owned business who manages short-term vacation properties featured on Airbnb, VRBO, and other travel sites across the Oregon coast, Portland Metro and Central Oregon Area. We are looking for a dedicated independent Vacation Home Consultant who wants to join a dynamic team.
The Vacation Home Consultant Representative is primarily responsible for establishing and implementing strategic plans designed to increase our vacation property portfolio within the STR programs. The Representative will execute a creative, integrated, sales program that builds brand awareness and provides customer and new business opportunities.
Areas of Responsibility and Duties
- Master a complete understanding of the brand, business practices, procedures, policies and contracts.
- Effectively sell EXPL.OR Vacation Properties to obtain new STR agreements.
- Obtain contract clarifications and new contracts where necessary.
- Develop and implement a strategic prospecting business plan that defines and meets prospecting goals and profitability objectives while sourcing new business.
- Keeps up with trends, statistics, and inform clients accordingly.
- Maintain a list of active prospects, including sources, and track results both successful and unsuccessful as well as connecting with realtors and monitoring the MLS for sales transfers.
- Collaborate with marketing personnel on direct mail campaigns and follow-up.
- Communicate and connect with prospects and attend community events.
- Create and give sales presentations to prospective homeowners and generate booking projections.
- Network with sales agents/realtors in the area to recruit and retain new clients.
- Develop a referral network of agents, contractors, vendors, mortgage brokers, insurance agents, community leaders, etc.
- Performs related and other special duties as required or directed

Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent work experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent time management skills with proven ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing
- Ability to learn and use new software and tools
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience
Contracted independent consultant.
Commission only.

Pay: $2,500.00 - $4,500.00 per month
