Part-Time Family Nurse Practitioner (APRN) – Primary Care

We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP/APRN) to join our primary care team on a part-time basis. What You'll Do
As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will independently manage a variety of primary care needs while collaborating with other members of the healthcare team to ensure continuity and quality of care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide evidence-based primary and family healthcare, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management.
- Evaluate and treat patients presenting with episodic illnesses and chronic health conditions.
- Conduct routine examinations, preventive screenings, health risk assessments, and appropriate diagnostic testing.
- Develop individualized treatment and care plans based on each patient's clinical needs.
- Prescribe medications and treatments within applicable state regulations and prescriptive authority.
- Educate and counsel patients regarding preventive health, nutrition, healthy lifestyle choices, medications, and chronic disease management.
- Encourage patients to take an active role in their healthcare through wellness education, screenings, behavioral health support, and chronic condition management.
- Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals when appropriate.
- Maintain timely, complete, and accurate documentation within the electronic medical record.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, clinical team members, and leadership.
- Help maintain a welcoming, respectful environment for patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Participate in community outreach and patient engagement initiatives designed to increase awareness of available healthcare services.
- Maintain required continuing education, professional certifications, and state licensure.
- Participate in on-call patient coverage as required.
- Support quality improvement, patient engagement, and other clinical initiatives.
- Perform additional responsibilities appropriate to the role as assigned.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an APRN who combines strong clinical judgment with excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to patient-centered care.
Required qualifications:
- Master's degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current and unrestricted APRN license in the state of practice.
- Current national Family Nurse Practitioner certification through AANP or ANCC.
- Current prescriptive authority and ability to maintain all state and federal requirements necessary to practice.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner in a primary care or family practice setting.
- Current CPR certification.
- Comfortable using electronic medical records and other healthcare information systems.
- Strong assessment, documentation, organizational, and clinical decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Position Details
Job Type: Part-Time
Work Environment: Professional outpatient medical setting. The position involves regular computer and telephone use, periods of sitting and standing, and occasional bending. As with most clinical healthcare environments, there may be potential exposure to illness and infectious disease.
