Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Experienced Upholsterer / Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality upholstered products and operating industrial sewing machines with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to delivering durable, well-crafted items that meet our standards of excellence. Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing machines to assemble and upholster various products according to specifications
- Cut, sew, and assemble fabric, foam, and other materials with accuracy and consistency
- Interpret design patterns, blueprints, or work orders to ensure proper construction of items
- Inspect finished products for quality, durability, and adherence to safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency in the manufacturing process
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining high-quality standards
- Assist in material handling, including loading and unloading fabrics and supplies from storage areas
Skills
- Proven experience in upholstery or garment construction with a strong understanding of sewing techniques
- Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines with precision and speed
- Knowledge of sewing machine maintenance and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality control procedures, and safety protocols
- Warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating ability to handle materials efficiently
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for craftsmanship and product quality
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently or as part of a team

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
