A 6 bed Congregate Living Health Facility (CLHF) that provides a supportive residential environment that combines skilled nursing services, rehabilitation, social services, assistance with daily activities, and community living for adult individuals who require step down intensive medical supervision.
Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential hands-on care and support to medically fragile residents in a home-like, licensed residential setting. Working under the supervision of licensed nurses, the CNA assists with daily living activities, monitors residents’ health and safety, assist in meal preparations, and helps maintain a clean, comfortable environment tailored to each patient’s unique medical and personal needs.
Duties
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding
- Take and record vital signs, weight, and other basic health metrics
- Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition
- Prepare nutritious meals for residents
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and communal areas
- Ensure safety protocols and infection control measures are followed
- Support the nursing staff with care-related tasks as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Assist in transporting patients within the facility as needed.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times.
Shifts Available:
- 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Per Diem
Qualifications:
- Current and valid California CNA certification
- CPR/BLS certification (required)
- Food Handler's certification (required upon 14 days of hire)
- Experience in a CLHF, SNF, or other long-term care setting (preferred)
- Ability to perform aseptic techniques effectively.
- Compassionate demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills for working with diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities and those requiring specialized care for conditions like dementia.
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
