Chemist is needed to perform the following duties:
- Chemical analysis of pharmaceuticals/nutraceutical and OTC products manufactured in the facility and order processing from outside according with the compliance of USP chapters and company SOPs
- Prepare reports of multiple chemical analysis of raw materials, finished product and stability samples performed through HPLC, UV, Dissolution, IR
- Report to plant manager regarding the necessary microbiological testing to be ordered and reported in timely manner according to release dates
- Generate reports of process validation, standardization and instrument calibration.
- Update the SOPs and Specification and Certificate of Analysis according to the change in recent USP methods and
- Check and update the inventory of USP and in house standards and reagents according to latest USP information and inform to analyst to create correct documentation
- Study and develop OOS and OOT reports and conclude about the Corrective and preventive actions
- Print required Safety data sheets and inform analyst for the proper use and safety details and about their side effects and hazards.
- Understand the concerns and reasons of detailed verification points in the company that can be verified and inquired during the Ethical audit, internal audit, customer audit and FDA audit for each department
- Learn and use the references from NIH, USP and FDA approved methods to study and apply the mechanisms of biochemical, immunological responses and biological processes.
Bachelor's Degree is required in Chemistry or Bio-Chemistry or education + experience which is equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Bio-Chemistry
