We are seeking experienced Mid-Level Grinders & Trimmers to support our plastics production line. In this role, you will be responsible for trimming, grinding, sanding, and preparing plastic parts used in the assembly of mobility vehicles. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position that requires attention to detail, precision, and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities
- Trim to specifications, grind, and sand plastic components to meet quality and safety standards
- Cut and shape plastics using hand and power tools
- Clean and prepare parts for assembly
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
- Support the plastics department as needed
- Promote a positive, solutions-focused work environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Candidates with experience in the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply:
- Plastics cutting or fabrication
- Wood cutting or carpentry
- Auto repair or body shop work
- Machine shop or manufacturing environment
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Proficient with hand tools and grinding equipment
- Ability to lift 40–60 lbs frequently
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and use of PPE
- Reliable, team-oriented, and positive attitude
- Ability to pass background check and pre-employment screening
Work Environment & Schedule
- Full-time | 1st Shift: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, Monday–Friday
- Overtime may be required during peak production periods
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment
