We are currently looking for a dependable CDL-A Local Delivery Driver to join our Warren, Michigan team. This position operates out of our Warren hub at the Penske Truck Rental location.

What You’ll Do
As a CDL-A Delivery Driver, you will deliver wholesale grocery and convenience store products to customers on a multi-stop route. Our customer base includes convenience stores, independent grocery stores, restaurants, and vending companies.
This is a hands-on delivery position. Drivers are responsible for safely delivering product, unloading at customer locations, handling invoices, and providing professional customer service.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Safely operating a CDL-A vehicle on local and regional routes
- Making multi-stop deliveries to customer locations
- Unloading product accurately and safely
- Handling invoices, delivery paperwork, and customer payments when needed
- Providing professional customer service at each stop
- Working independently while staying organized and on schedule
- Following DOT, FMCSA, and company safety requirements
- Communicating any customer, delivery, or equipment concerns promptly
- Maintaining dependable attendance and punctuality
Schedule
- Typically Monday through Friday
- 5 days per week
- Approximately 45 hours per week
- Additional overtime may be available
- Home every day
- Paid orientation and training provided
Pay
- $30.15 per hour including incentive
- Time and a half after 40 hours
- Quarterly safety bonus
- Monthly incentive opportunities available

Requirements
To be considered, candidates must have:
- Valid CDL-A license
- Ability to drive a manual transmission
- Ability to cross state lines
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and meet DOT requirements
- Good driving record
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds
- Basic math skills
- Strong communication skills
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Delivery or multi-stop driving experience preferred
- Must reside in or near the Warren, Michigan area
