We are hiring experienced CDL-A intermodal drivers with HazMat endorsement for a dedicated account based out of Stockton, CA. This is a day shift position - home every single day. Drivers complete 2 to 4 loads per day on short regional routes (1-160 miles). No driver assist unloads. Immediate openings - 2 positions available.
PAY
- $1,400-$1,600 average weekly earnings - top drivers earn up to $2,000/week
- Day shift rate: $13.05/hour + $54.84 per load completed
- Night rate (when applicable): $15.15/hour + $54.84 per load
- Weekly mileage: 1,000 average
- Paid weekly
- Note: This is an incentive-based pay account - pay is based on loads completed
JOB DETAILS
- Position: Full-Time - Dedicated Intermodal
- Equipment: Containers / Intermodal
- Freight: Variety of preloaded pickups, drop freight
- Home Time: Home every day
- Shift: Day shift - average 11-12 hour shifts
- Routes: Stockton/Central Valley regional - Bay Area and Fresno/Shafter area
- Haul length: 1-160 miles on various lanes
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Class A CDL
- 21 years of age or older
- Minimum 3 months CDL-A experience required
- Must live within 25 miles of Stockton, CA (zip 95206)
- Solo drivers only - no team positions
- Clean driving record
- Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate Class A intermodal truck on dedicated Stockton regional container lanes
- Pick up and deliver containers - variety of preload, drop, and live freight
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate ELD logs
- Follow all DOT and HazMat regulations and safety policies
- Communicate with dispatch on load and delivery progress
