Warehouse & Shipping Manager – Custom Wood Products
About Us
We design and craft custom wood products for the residential cabinetry industry. We're looking for a detail-oriented Warehouse & Shipping Manager to keep our products moving safely from the shop floor to our customers.
What You'll Do
- Photograph each finished product and upload images to our production tracker software
- Carefully wrap products in foam, plastic, and cardboard to prevent damage in transit
- Palletize freight-bound items for shipment
- Schedule freight pickups and coordinate local deliveries and pickups with customers
- Print and manage BOLs (bills of lading) through our freight shipping provider
- Track and log serial numbers for specific products
- Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records
- Update and communicate with customers on shipping dates
- Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and safe
What We're Looking For
- Forklift experience required
- Experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics
- Comfortable using computers and software for tracking/inventory purposes
- Strong attention to detail — accuracy matters for serial numbers, photos, and paperwork
- Physically able to lift, package, and palletize products (Must be able to lift 75lbs)
- Good communication skills for coordinating with customers and freight carriers
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25–$28 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (40 hours/week)
