Job Overview
We are seeking a Masters level mental health counselor to join our team. Candidates must have a Masters in Mental Health Counseling and are working toward their LMHC license. Please note, this is a fee for service position and part time. Availability for afternoon and weekend appointments required. In person and Telehealth availability, as well as comfortable working with children and adolescents
In this role, you will provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mental health practices and communicate effectively with patients in an outpatient setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual, couple, and family therapy sessions.
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans under the guidance of a licensed mental health counselor.
- Provide direct support to patients through individual and family therapy sessions.
- Maintain accurate session notes and other documentation, as required.
Experience
A Masters degree in counseling is required. Supervision by a Licensed Mental Health Counselor will be provided. It is the candidate’s responsibility to ensure that the provided supervision will go toward their hours for the state license.
Job Type: Contract
