Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly audits of all hotel transactions using property management systems (PMS) such as Lightspeed, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Manage front desk operations during overnight hours, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries with professionalism and warmth
- Handle guest requests, resolve issues promptly, and provide exceptional customer service through multi-line phone systems and face-to-face interactions
- Monitor security cameras and perform property inspections to maintain safety standards and prevent theft or damage
- Follow hotel emergency procedures confidently in case of incidents or safety concerns, coordinating with emergency responders when necessary
- Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and financial summaries to ensure smooth handovers to daytime staff
- Assist with reservations, modifications, cancellations, and other hotel management tasks using hospitality reservation systems
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to problem-solve efficiently and communicate clearly with diverse guests and team members
- Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), especially Lightspeed or similar platforms
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance guest interactions across different cultures
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, guest relations, and security protocols is essential
- Excellent phone etiquette and experience managing multi-line phone systems in a hospitality setting
- Previous resort experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in high-volume environments
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail
