Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish preferred), compassionate, and detail-oriented team player who can thrive in a dual role that combines both front-office registration and clinical medical assisting. This unique position is perfect for someone who loves variety—balancing hands-on patient care with providing a warm, professional welcome at the front desk.
If you’re adaptable, organized, and passionate about delivering an excellent patient experience from check-in to check-out, this is the role for you!
What You’ll Be Doing
Every day will bring a mix of responsibilities to keep things running smoothly across both patient-facing and clinical support areas:
Registration & Front Desk
- Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming first impression.
- Collect accurate patient information, insurance, and payment details.
- Schedule appointments and enter lab orders.
- Answer incoming calls, prepare paperwork, and maintain confidentiality.
- Keep the lobby and workspace clean, organized, and inviting.
Clinical & Patient Care
- Prepare patients for exams and procedures with professionalism and compassion.
- Take vital signs and collect patient history.
- Assist providers during exams and procedures as needed.
- Keep exam rooms stocked, organized, and ready.
- Call in prescriptions under provider direction and update EMRs accurately.
- Help with medications, durable medical equipment (DME), and in-office dispensing.
What You Bring to the Table
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (preferred) or 2 years of experience
- BLS Certification (required).
- 1–2 years of experience in healthcare (front desk or clinical setting).
- Excellent communication skills—calm, clear, and compassionate.
- Comfortable with EMRs, scheduling systems, phones, and basic office equipment.
- Strong multitasking, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Physical Expectations
- Standing, sitting, and moving throughout your shift.
- Dexterity for daily clinical and clerical tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and assist in patient transfers (with help).
- Clinical setting may involve exposure to bodily fluids or airborne particles.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- A supportive, team-oriented culture where collaboration is key.
- A mission-driven workplace that values compassion, excellence, and respect.
- The chance to make a direct impact on patients’ comfort and care—from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave.
